A goal in either half from Bradley Johnson and Lewis Grabban gave Norwich City a 2-0 victory over Town in the East Anglian derby at Carrow Road. Johnson opened the scoring on 24 with a strike off the underside of the bar with Grabban adding the second in the 62nd minute.

Premier League Wigan have been linked with a loan move for Wolves right-back Ronald Zubar, who was strongly tipped to be joining the Blues before Christmas. The 27-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, was brought to Molineux by Town manager Mick McCarthy.

Two goals in the first 14 minutes scored by Liam Ridgewell and Kevin Phillips all but sealed Birmingham's 2-1 home victory over the Blues at St Andrew's. Town were very much second best throughout with a late Alex Bruce header making the scoreline look closer than it ought to have been.
